FLOOD-CDT: Centre for Doctoral Training for Resilient Flood Futures
FLOOD-CDT trains future research practitioners to improve flood management in the UK and beyond. The programme equips students with the tools and mindset to translate research and innovation into practical solutions, and fosters a collaborative, inspiring learning environment for future leaders in flood science.
IGNITE: Doctoral Landscape Award
IGNITE is a NERC-funded Doctoral Landscape Award designed to prepare researchers to tackle the most pressing environmental challenges, including climate change. The programme develops the cross-sector skills needed by future leaders across business, government, and academia.
SENSE: Centre for Satellite Data in Environmental Science
SENSE is an Earth Observation DTP funded by NERC and the UK Space Agency. It brings together leading universities and industry to train PhD students in the application of satellite data and data science to environmental problems. By helping train industry-ready specialists, SENSE supports the UK’s growing role in global Earth observation science and technology.
